Background and Philosophy

So how did a Nebraska farm boy come to own a Real Estate office? Sorry space is limited! Suffice to say that he was raised on a dairy farm and worked long hours. His dad`s philosophy is that "nothing is achieved without hard work" and Alan adopted that philosophy early in life. This probably nurtured his ability to put difficult transactions together and to always strive to make the deal work for buyers and sellers. After 30 years in Real Estate, seven of them managing someone else`s office, he thought it was time to cultive some new roots (that old farming mentality), thus Windermere/Sandy Real Estate.

Experience

I started my carreer in May 1972, yes hard to believe but its true. Over the years I have represented many clients who have became lifetime friends. Among my past cients are Stanford University, Oregon State University, Milt Fox University, City of Sandy, Suburban Autogroup, The Oregon Candy Farm and many many more.

Real Estate Consulting

If you have a question about buying, selling or just my opinion, I will be happy to spend time with you doing just that. We do short sales, and also foreclosures. I am experienced in partitioning property, I have been a licensed Residential builder, and have developed my own subdivisions.

Time Off

I enjoy days off with my wife Therese gardening, golfing, spending time with my 5 grandchilden and 2 great grandchildren. We travel in Europe when we can to visit family there, and we also enjoy visits to Puerto Vallarta Mexico when we can get away. I am so blessed as I still have my father and mother who live close by in their own home
